A Place to Ask, Discover, and Grow
Whether you are simply curious about the Catholic faith, have been attending Mass for years, are preparing to receive the Sacraments, or are accompanying someone on their journey, we are delighted that you are here.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the Catholic Church’s process for helping adults come to know Jesus Christ, grow in faith, and become fully initiated into the Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist.
If you have already been baptized in another Christian tradition and are interested in becoming Catholic, OCIA will prepare you to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church through a Profession of Faith, followed by the Sacraments of Confirmation and the Eucharist.
More than a class, OCIA is a journey—a journey of prayer, learning, friendship, and transformation as we grow together in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Holy Family, we believe that faith grows best in community. Together we explore Sacred Scripture, Catholic teaching, prayer, worship, and the ways God is active in our daily lives. Questions are always welcome. No one is expected to have all the answers. We trust that God is already at work in each person’s heart, and we are honored to accompany you wherever you are on your journey of faith.
